According to Android Authority, citing reporting and screenshots from Windows Report, Nano Banana hit Google Chrome Canary on desktop last month and is making moves to come to Android soon.

The news outlet reported that once the update is made, the plus button on the address bar will include five options: Camera, Gallery, Files, AI Mode, and Create image. If a user chooses Create image, they can enter a prompt and Nano Banana will use AI to generate an image off of the prompt, Android Authority reported. That generated image will then show up in the browser, where users can then download or share it, the news outlet wrote.

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Mashable, so the timeline here is unclear.
