Folks were clamoring for a new streaming device from Google since it had been so long since something new was released. But when it finally came in the form of the Google TV Streamer, many were surprised when it didn’t really stick its landing. It’s a fine product, but by that time it was released, plenty of other brands had already filled the gap. Ane of the best options for something powerful and feature-packed was the Onn 4K Pro.
The current king of Google TV streamers
Everyone’s going to have an opinion on what’s best when it comes to streaming devices, but I think the one that offers the most value, and will be a great fit for most people is going to be the Onn 4K Pro. We reviewed this product when it first came out and really loved it.
You get great performance, excellent video and audio quality, and the connectivity is fantastic. The design is subtle, which allows it to easily blend into your existing entertainment hub. Plus, the software delivers everything you want, with access to all the top streaming services.
Best of all, if you want to customize the experience, that’s also possible, unlike other streaming devices from the likes of Apple and Roku. If you want a suggestion, we can’t speak highly enough of Projectivity Launcher.
The price is just too sweet
So we know that the hardware and features are good, but what takes it over the top? Well, it’s the price really. The Google TV Streamer comes in at $100, which seems like a fair price. But then you get something like the Onn 4K Pro, which comes in at half the price, and it really starts to make you wonder.
What’s even better is that the price is even cheaper right now, coming in at just $45. You really can’t beat what you’re getting here, with the Onn 4K Pro offering impressive value. While there are some other devices out there, this is going to be the best hardware and software combination you’ll find for the price.
