Adventure Time is one of Cartoon Network’s breakout animated series. The show is set in the fantasy land of Ooo, and follow the adventures of Finn the Human and his adoptive brother, Jake the Dog. While the story starts as a fun fantasy adventure with equal parts homage and satire of the swords-and-sorcery genre, it slowly evolves into a sprawling epic with deep character development, and big narrative payoffs for longtime fans. The show is critically acclaimed for its strong storytelling and even stronger cast of characters, and its success has led to several spin-off projects, such as the Adventure Time: Distant Lands limited series, which is available on Blu-ray, and it’s currently on sale for $12 (was $20) at Amazon.
Adventure Time isn’t the only beloved Cartoon Network series on DVD. All 245 episodes–and the movie–of Regular Show were collected into a home media release so that you can catch up on the absurd escapades of Mordecai and Rigby for just $44.49.

Since we’re headed into the holiday season, it’s also worth mentioning all the Adventure Time merchandise available that could make for fun gift ideas. This includes a new and officially licensed tote bag inspired by everyone’s favorite sentient games console, BMO, that’s available for $30.53. Just like the charming handheld unit, the BMO tote bag has limbs and a huggable plush design, and you can carry a few things inside. Grab the BMO beanie for $16, and you’ve got a matching wardrobe for when you go outside.
Speaking of huggable purchases, you can grab a Jake plush for $12 (was $15), perfect when you need an emotional support cartoon character nearby. It can even slightly shape-shift like the cartoon Jake, depending on how hard you hug it.

You can also pick up several Adventure Time graphic novels, which make for perfect stocking-stuffers. A curated collection of these comics has been reprinted in a compact edition, and this 272-page paperback is priced at just $10. Adventure Time Compendium Edition paperbacks also began rolling out last Fall, and these have proven to be quite popular. While physical copies first two releases quickly sold out (digital versions are still available), you can preorder the third compendium for $50 ahead of its December 30 release. There’s also Adventure Time Volume 1: Best of Buds, a new adventure where Finn and Jake embark on a new quest for Computer Princess. This 640-page paperback collects 14 issues of the official Adventure Time comic book series. There’s also the 304-page Fionna and Cake Compendium for $16.83 (was $25), for fans of the alternate-universe versions of Adventure Time’s main characters.
