Samsung looks ready to commit to Qi2 with a full magnetic accessory lineup for the S26 series

What you need to know

  • Samsung is preparing a full lineup of Qi2 magnetic accessories for the Galaxy S26 series.
  • Samsung will launch multiple magnetic cases and a new Qi2 battery pack for the S26 lineup.
  • The Galaxy S26 Ultra may support faster 25W wireless charging with new Qi2.2 features.
  • Anti-reflective screen protectors will also be offered for all S26 models.

Google embraced Apple‘s MagSafe-like Qi2 with the launch of the Pixel 10 series in August 2025, and now it looks like Samsung is finally hopping on board.

According to reliable leaker Roland Quandt (via WinFuture.de), we now have a look at the full range of accessories Samsung is planning to launch with the Galaxy S26 series lineup, and it looks like Samsung is gearing up to fully adopt Qi2 with a complete range of new magnetic accessories.

The leaker notes that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be able to charge faster wirelessly at up to 25W, thanks to what is presumably incoming Qi2.2 support — something we learned earlier Samsung will call “Super fast wireless charging.” Samsung will also reportedly equip all accessories with magnets for wireless charging and for attaching mounts.

As with every Galaxy S launch, you can expect a wide range of accessories to debut alongside the S26 lineup. According to the leak, Samsung will introduce a premium-feeling Magnetic Carbon Case for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

In addition to the carbon case, you can also expect magnetic clear cases, magnetic rugged cases, and, for the first time, magnetic silicone cases for all Galaxy S26 phones. However, it appears that the Magnetic Carbon Case will be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Plus, and will not be available for the baseline Galaxy S26.

There’s also mention of a “dual magnet holder ring” for all models, though for now we don’t know what it will be used for.

Quandt also mentions a new Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack with Qi2 support (model number EB-U2500) that will work similarly to MagSafe power banks we’ve seen for iPhones. The external power bank will reportedly offer a 5000mAh capacity.

In addition to this, Quandt says the Galaxy S26 series will also come with a Bluetooth S Pen as an “optional accessory or spare part.” Samsung removed Bluetooth support from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen, but it appears it might be making a comeback, although it’s possible the company may sell the Bluetooth version as an extra purchase.

The leak also mentions that Samsung will sell anti-reflective screen protectors for all Galaxy S26 models. While the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature anti-reflective Gorilla Glass out of the box, it’s good to see Samsung selling anti-reflective protectors for all models so users can get a similar feel across the lineup.

The Galaxy S26 series isn’t far away now, with the leak mentioning that Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the phones near the end of February 2026, which is different from what we’ve previously heard. This could be due to the Galaxy S26 Plus replacing the Galaxy S26 Edge late in development. That said, we’re only a couple of months away, so things should become clearer as we get closer to launch.
