Netflix’s original Castlevania animated series ran for four seasons from 2021-2021. A substantial chunk of series is based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, the 1989 game for NES. It also featured its own story beats separate from the games and pulled from Symphony of the Night and Curse of Darkness.

If you don’t own the Blu-ray editions of the original series, they are available for cheap at Amazon. Seasons 1 and 2 are bundled together for $15, Season 3 is $19.53, and Season 4 is $15. You can also get all four seasons on DVD for roughly $44 total.

In September, Viz Media released a Complete Series Limited Edition Blu-ray Box Set with Seasons 1-4 on Blu-ray and various Castlevania-themed collectibles, including a 72-page art book, Ouija Game Card, Tarot Card Deck, Window Cling Art Pieces, and a cool display box. It has a steep retail price of $155 and is still very expensive right now at Amazon ($140).

$27.18 (was $40) | Limited-time deal

Castlevania: The Art of the Animated Series is a 192-page hardcover book published by Dark Horse in 2021. It features commentary and artwork from the team behind Netflix’s original Castlevania series. All four seasons are covered in this book. It’s one of the most popular and highly rated art books focused on a video game adaptation.

Amazon’s limited-time deal drops the price to $27.18, and the book is also eligible for the retailer’s B1G1 50% Off Book Sale.

$55 | Releases March 3, 2026

Castlevania: Nocturne’s official art book will be published March 3, 2026. It collects concept art, production designs, and storyboards from both seasons of Nocturne. Although it only covers two seasons, this hardcover book is actually a bit longer than Dark Horse’s first one. Castlevania: Nocturne – The Art of the Animated Series clocks in at 208 pages.
