GTA 5 Is Giving Players Free Gifts For Logging On During The Holiday

The new weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online adds festive content, free gifts, discounts, and popular holiday modes. Rockstar Games also confirms snow will arrive in Los Santos later in the month.

The holidays arrive in Los Santos with several returning modes players can participate in. These festive limited-time modes include GTA Online’s Yeti Hunt, The Gooch, Weazel Plaza Shootout, and Snowball Fights. Additionally, players can expect snowy weather conditions to arrive later in the month.

Players who log in to GTA Online anytime between December 23 and January 7 will receive an assortment of holiday freebies. These gifts include new items like the Season’s Greetings Sweater, as well as returning favorites, such as the Snowball Launcher, Candy Cane, and Firework Launcher.

From December 23-29, players can claim a free Buckingham SuperVolito Carbon helicopter from Elitás Travel. The SuperVolito Carbon can also now be upgraded with a Missile Lock-On Jammer at a player’s Hangar Aircraft Workshop.

Several discounts are available for the weed farm business and various vehicle purchases:

  • Annis Remus (Sports) – 30% off

  • Declasse Walton L35 (Off-Road) – 30% off
  • Pegassi Reaper (Super) – 30% off
  • Albany Brigham (Muscle) – 30% off
  • Progen Itali GTB (Super) – 30% off
  • HVY Insurgent (Off-Road) – 30% off

The weekly community series features a variety of wintery races, deathmatches, and Last Team Standing modes that are awarding 2X GTA$ and RP (4X for GTA+ Members).

Additionally, those who subscribe to Rockstar’s Propaganda email newsletter can also receive a special Red Festive Tree Hat in GTA Online. Subscribers must log in and play between December 18-31 to receive the gift.

Most recently, GTA Online received a major update allowing players to purchase one of three mansion properties. It also added a new mission featuring Michael De Santa, one of the main characters from GTA 5’s story mode.
