Set in feudal Japan, this installment of the long-running Assassin’s Creed series focuses on the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order, both organizations at odds with fighting for peace through their own very different means. This entry has dual protagonists once more: kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe, and samurai Yasuke, both with different types of play styles.
This action RPG is a lot like the rest of the games in the Assassin’s Creed series, but the first to fully delve into this time period and location, rewarding players with an open world to explore, tons of different non-linear missions to tackle, and the new ability to crawl and go prone as well as “Observe” mode to glean information about potential targets.
