Timi is a news and deals writer who’s been reporting on technology for over a decade. He loves breaking down complex subjects into easy-to-read pieces that keep you informed. But his recent passion comes from finding the best discounts on the internet on some of the best tech products out right now.

Google probably isn’t going to be your first choice when it comes to a new router. But the brand does make a pretty solid one that’s easy to set up and use. We loved the Google Nest Wifi Pro in our review, and it’s now even better thanks to a new discount that drops the price by half.

Solid connection with plenty of features

The Google Nest Wifi Pro looks quite simple and sleek from the outside, which makes it easy to place in any room without looking awkward. You get a Wi-Fi 6E connection that’s plenty quick and can cover up to 2,200 square feet.

The good news is that the router will automatically adjust the network to accommodate your use, enhancing the connection when needed. It can even diagnose and repair connection issues that might occur.

And as you can imagine, the security is also quite good as well. The router can even become the hub of your connected home, making it easy to control and keep track of any connected devices.

If you want customization, this might not be for you

While this is a perfectly good router, we did have some minor complaints in our review. The price was one of the major points, with the MSRP coming in at $200. But with this discount, we think that the $100 price is much better now.

If you’re someone that likes to do deep dives and tinker with their devices, the Nest Wifi Pro probably isn’t going to be for you. While it does have some options for customization, the options aren’t really as deep as its competitors.

However, the overall experience is pretty good, and we think that this router will be perfect for most people. So, if you’ve been looking to change, now’s going to be a good time to pick this one up.
