We’re living in an era of iterative upgrades and the newest version of Bose’s flagship headphones are proof. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd gen) headphones look largely the same as their predecessors, but offer improved on-head detection, better battery life, and slightly better noise cancellation. They also cost $449 ($20 more than the first generation), though you can find them on sale as of Jan. 14 for $399.

The all-day comfort even pairs with all-day battery life; with noise cancellation turned on, the QuietComfort Ultras headphones will last from 18 to 24 hours per charge. These headphones also deliver pretty good noise cancellation, excellent sound quality, and convenient foldable earcups. “They’re still some of the most comfortable and best-sounding headphones we’ve ever tested,” Mashable’s Sam Mangino writes.
