Samsung may have accidentally revealed the Galaxy S26 model names

What you need to know

  • Samsung may have accidentally confirmed the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra model names ahead of launch.
  • The leaked document suggests Samsung is sticking with its familiar three-phone flagship strategy for 2026.
  • Rumored name changes like Galaxy S26 Pro and the S26 Edge do not appear to be part of the launch lineup.

Even though we’re weeks away from the Galaxy S26 series launch, Samsung may have slipped up and accidentally leaked the final model names for the entire flagship lineup.

There has been a lot of confusion around the Galaxy S26 series in recent months. Early rumors suggested Samsung might rename the base model to the Galaxy S26 Pro, while other leaks claimed the Plus model would be replaced by a Galaxy S26 Edge. That later turned out not to be true, as reports indicated Samsung had scrapped the S26 Edge in favor of keeping the Plus model.

That said, if there were still any doubts, Samsung’s Colombian website may have just cleared things up. As spotted by SamMobile, Samsung Colombia accidentally published a PDF document outlining various product promotions.

Interestingly, the document also listed the Galaxy S26 series models, alongside the already-available Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. According to the PDF, the lineup will officially include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Since these kinds of documents usually reflect finalized product names, it appears Samsung is sticking with its familiar three-phone strategy. This means the base model will not be renamed to Galaxy S26 Pro, and there will be no slim Galaxy S26 Edge at launch.

That said, there is still a possibility Samsung could introduce a Galaxy S26 Edge later in the year, similar to what it did with the Galaxy S25 Edge.

For now, however, Samsung seems set on launching the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Leaks point to a February 25 launch with the smartphone series going on sale in early March. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to bring some notable upgrades, including a larger battery with 60W fast charging and a more refined design.
