Jimmy Kimmel has a blunt reaction to the latest Epstein files update

“There’s so much going on right now — there’s too much, really — and then in other areas there’s not enough going on. You remember those Epstein files?”

That’s how Jimmy Kimmel opens the monologue above, responding to the news that the remaining files concerning convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein will apparently be released “in the near term,” despite there still being no specific date.

“You remember those? Those files Congress voted to legally required the Justice Department to release by December 19th of last year? And then December 19th came and went, and now it’s the end of January and we still don’t have them?” asks Kimmel.

“These Epstein files are like Melania’s movie — no one’s ever gonna see them.”
