I’ve been a fan of the Pixel 10 series from the beginning. Google has done an outstanding job building on the success of the Pixel 8 and 9, delivering reliable hardware and solid software. Material 3 Expressive is my favorite Android software to use, and the Pixel 10 is the phone I’d recommend to first-time iOS switchers.
Still, not everyone wants to spend $800 on a smartphone. Thankfully, carrier discounts are around to help out, and if you’re alright staying with the same company for 36 months, you can save big money. Verizon is running a fantastic deal on the Pixel 10. With any qualifying trade, you can pick up a Pixel 10 without adding anything to your monthly bill. Sure, you’ll need to stay with Verizon for 3 years to get all the bill credits, but it’s a cost-effective way to score an excellent device.
Why I love the Pixel 10
Snappy performance and top-notch software
Google did plenty right with the Pixel 10. Its 6.3-inch Actua 1080p display gives the phone a compact feel. It’s also a high-quality panel, with saturated colors. It gets bright enough for outdoor viewing, and I’ve had no complaints about the display. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the front and back of the phone, and the aluminum frame gives the Pixel 10 a premium feel.
It includes 12GB of RAM, which is crucial for futureproofing. It’ll hopefully allow the phone to enjoy Pixel Feature Drops and new Gemini upgrades for years to come. The Pixel 10 will also receive 7 years of software support and upgrades, and from what I’ve seen so far, Google has done a good job optimizing Material 3 Expressive on Android 16 for older hardware.
The cameras are what you’d expect from a Pixel, and I love that Google added a third sensor to the base Pixel 10. A telephoto lens adds versatility and improves the phone’s value. Night Sight is ideal for low-light photography, and if you’re a shutterbug, you can do a lot worse.
Battery life is solid thanks to the nearly 5,000 mAh cell. I get roughly two days of mixed use, which is all I want before I plug in to recharge. All told, if you’re in the market for a new phone, this Pixel 10 deal is worth considering.
