If you’re curious about open-ear earbuds, but don’t want to sacrifice sound quality, the Bose Ultra Open earbuds are the best option. And now that they’re $100 off, they’re an incredible value.

The Ultra Open buds curl around the edges of your ears like earring cuffs instead of going directly into your ear canal. This “open” design helps to keep you in touch with your surroundings while you listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts, etc., which makes them a particularly good pick for runners, cyclists, or commuters who need to stay aware and alert. Most open earbuds can sound muddied because of this design, but Mashable contributor RJ Andersen said that’s not the case with the Bose earbuds.
