Yes, this hack could get you T-Mobile powered 5G internet for as little as $30 per month — but there’s a small catch

This year, one of my biggest goals is to simplify and cut down on my monthly expenses all across the board — think fewer streaming subscriptions, fewer nights out, and perhaps most importantly, cheaper phone and internet bills. Fortunately, Mint Mobile has my back on both accounts, thanks to the company’s new 5G Home Internet service.

For a limited time, bundling 5G Home Internet with a Mint Mobile phone plan will knock the price of the internet down to $30 per month. Since Mint is currently running an offer that drops its Unlimited plan down to $15 per month, you could potentially get both T-Mobile-powered mobile service AND internet for only 45 bucks per month.

The catch is that, because Mint Mobile only sells its service in 3, 6, and 12-month increments of time, you’re looking at an upfront payment of at least $135 for three months of coverage. Still, compare that with how much you’re paying for internet and wireless service every month and tell me it doesn’t sound good.

Owned and operated by T-Mobile, the 5G “Mint-ernet” service gives you unlimited 5G data with average speeds of 133-415 Mbps, plus a free T-Mobile-brand Gateway device and a 14-day moneyback guarantee.

Mint’s Unlimited tier is also one of my favorite cell phone plans in the business, giving users unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile’s vast 5G network, a free mobile hotspot, and coverage in Mexico, Canada, and the UK.

For someone who hates paying their bills every month, I don’t mind dropping some extra cash one day if it means I won’t have to worry about my balance again until May. But to each their own!
