What you need to know

  • Samsung announces that its Galaxy Unpacked event will kick off on February 25, 2026 at 1 pm ET/10 am PT in San Francisco, California.
  • The company confirmed that users can begin their reservations for new, upcoming Galaxy models on its main channels, AT&T, and Best Buy.
  • We are eagerly awaiting the launch of the Galaxy S26 series, which we expect to be the main event at this livestream.

Samsung’s here to help ease your evening by announcing when users should keep their eyes out for what’s new from the Galaxy.

A press release holds Samsung’s confirmation that its Galaxy Unpacked event is coming up very soon in February. According to the company, the “next evolution” of its Galaxy ecosystem will debut on February 25, 2026 at 1 pm ET in San Francisco, California. Samsung further teases that its announcement livestream will showcase how users can “connect, create, and immerse” themselves in its technology.

New models are expected to be revealed for Samsung’s Galaxy. The company states it will stream its event on its YouTube channel on the previously given date and time. Moreover, users can tune into the stream on its Newroom and main website.

That’s not all, as users can already begin reserving their spot for Samsung’s upcoming devices. Samsung’s announcement says consumers can reserve “the latest Galaxy devices to receive a $30 credit to use during pre-order and be entered for a chance to win a $5,000 gift card to use on Samsung.com. Plus, customers can receive up to $900 in additional savings with a trade-in or receive a $150 credit with no trade-in when you reserve and pre-order on Samsung.com.”

Additionally, the post states users can even reserve devices on AT&T and Best Buy.

There’s no getting around it: we’re eagerly anticipating the Galaxy S26 series’ launch this month. Now, with confirmation of a Galaxy Unpacked in just a couple of weeks, that excitement has only been built higher. There’s a lot that’s still uncertain about the device, such as Samsung’s stance on proper Qi2 wireless charging support for the phones.

Beyond that, the series’ design isn’t expected to change too much. While there have been talks about more rounded corners to help with holding the device in one hand, there are others that say the vertical camera array could mirror the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Android Central’s Take

My excitement to see where Samsung’s going with the Galaxy S26 series—specifically, the Galaxy S26 Ultra—has only gotten more intense. I was pleased with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but considering what’s been rumored about the next model, I want to see if it’s enough to make me splurge or wait for the next generation. Of course, there are expectations that we all have for what we want to see Samsung do. The stream isn’t that far away, so… fingers crossed?
