This is good news, but not news to save the game so much as to just give people who haven’t played it more to do. I’m not sure how many gamers are still jumping back into this game considering the plethora of ‘building’ games out there, let alone in space. I really wish the notes mentioned something about doing more with the different factions and adding new quests to blend those in with the game from beginning to finish.
I think this shows what Todd wanted to focus on with the game, though, and that’s upgrades, building, looks, and the like. Not on a solid story to tell that is of much interest let alone little more than just fetch quests.
