By simply tapping a compatible Amiibo to the NFC touchpoint on your Nintendo Switch Joy-Con or Pro controller, you’ll get a figure player who’ll appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and will fight on your behalf when you’re away. These fighters can learn new abilities and tactics as they fight, and the more they battle, the more abilities they gain.
