Early Pixel 11 renders highlight a big camera island change

March 30, 2026

Google’s Pixel 11 series isn’t the next major release we’re expecting. That would be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, both slated to dominate the foldable market. However, when it comes to slab phones, the Pixel 11 series is truly what’s next.

Although the new series is still a few months away at this point, we’ve already heard quite a bit about it. And now, that leak train is taking a massive step forward.

Early Pixel 11 case leak points at a less-protruded camera island

The device is still roughly 6 months away

The first ‘proper’ Pixel 11 CAD renders are here, and they’re giving us our best look yet at Google’s 2026 flagship. Highlighted by @OnLeaks and Android Headlines, the renders mirror at least one key detail we’ve heard about via leaks and rumors in the past.

For reference, this is the base Pixel 11. We haven’t heard much about the Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro XL, though considering the established pattern, the two higher-end devices should look mostly identical to their base counterpart.

Changes on the front and back

The main changes, compared to the base Pixel 10, are in the design department. The device’s bezels appear thinner this time around, though not significantly. It’s worth noting that small details like bezel sizing can be a little off with these early CAD renders, so take the leak with a grain of salt.

Elsewhere, the other major change appears on the device’s rear. As leaked earlier, the rear camera bar does look significantly less protruded than the Pixel 10’s camera bar. Additionally, as seen in the images below, the camera bar will feature an all-black look to it. Instead of the device’s color wrapping around the flash and sensors, the entire camera island will sport a uniform black look to it.

Those are the only major external changes. Internally, the device is expected to be powered by the Tensor G6 chipset, complete with 12GB of RAM, a minimum of 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh cell.

Overall, the Pixel 11 series looks like it will be an iterative upgrade that might only appeal to last year’s Pixel 10 owners.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected to rock some design changes. Check them out in the article below.
