TL;DR
- ANBERNIC’s next handheld has shown up in a new video, revealing a few additional details.
- The device appears to be capable of emulating Nintendo 64 games.
- It also appears to feature an MP3 player.
Last month, a video of a mysterious Android gaming handheld leaked online. The emulation device, which features a Motorola Flipout-like swiveling display, appeared to be an ANBERNIC creation. There are few details about the handheld, but a couple of recently published videos have provided some additional information.
A handful of new videos featuring what could be ANBERNIC’s next handheld have surfaced on BiliBili (h/t: Notebookcheck). In one of these videos, we see that the device appears to have an MP3 player. However, it’s unclear if the hardware includes a headphone jack. The video also briefly shows support for Nintendo 64 games.
Something else we didn’t get to see in the previous video is the top of the device. It’s here that you’ll find the USB-C port to charge the handheld. We also get another look at the shoulder and trigger buttons, as well as the microSD card slot on the side.

Based on both videos, it appears that the handheld will be available in at least two color options: black and silver. The tease from last month also showed a variant with multi-colored buttons. It’s unknown when ANBERNIC plans to officially announce the handheld.
