DIY, discounted: As of Dec. 14, the Cricut Joy and Cricut EasyPress 2 are on sale for $122.55 (23% off) and $99 (48% off), respectively, at Amazon.

The people who are currently struggling to find a thoughtful last minute gift are probably the same crowd who swore last year that they’d never procrastinate again.

If digital gifts have never been up your alley, make DIY gifts your thing with your own machine from Cricut. The brand behind in the iconic Cricut Maker cutting machine offer two more portable designs: The Cricut Joy for small decals and labels and the Cricut EasyPress 2 for t-shirts, aprons, bags, and more. Both are on sale at Amazon as of Dec. 14 for near (or under) $100:

Best for beginners: Cricut Joy — $122.55

The portable Cricut Joy packs a lot of functions for being the size of a mini waffle maker. Like its bigger siblings, the Joy cuts, writes, and draws on sheets of over 50 materials up to 5.5 inches wide. This means it’s ideal for beginner DIY projects like labels, greeting cards, or decals.

Amazon lists the Cricut Joy’s original price as $159.99, but the original price is actually $179.99, according to Cricut’s website. This brings the savings up to $57.44, which is almost 32% off.

Maybe you’re the person who forces the family to wear matching t-shirts on vacation. Maybe you love a really specific quote from Schitt’s Creek that’s nowhere to be found on an Etsy shirt yet. Skip the iron-on struggle and bring your designs to life with the Cricut EasyPress 2. Just set the time and temperature and press down the plates for a quick, even transfer.
