Horizon Zero Dawn. 2017 was supposed to be Aloy’s year not Links. It got pretty nasty in the comment sections when BOTW won. lol Ever since this N4g has been trying to make BOTW out to be the worst LOZ entry or try to discredit because it borrows mechanics from other open world games as if one company holds the patent on commonly used mechanics in the genre. Its ridiculousness at its finest. Companies are always copying each other to different results. Just because a game wasn’t the first to do something doesn’t make it take away from the experience. Never understood that mentality.
