OnePlus Nord 2T launch could be months away, Nord 2 CE price tipped

Information about OnePlus’ upcoming mid-range model — the OnePlus Nord 2T — emerged last week thanks to a leak that spilled the beans about its specs. But if you were expecting the incremental successor to the Nord 2 to launch anytime soon, you might be disappointed.

According to frequent tipster Yogesh Brar and folks over at 91Mobiles, the OnePlus Nord 2T will hit the Indian market only in April or May. OnePlus could possibly make the phone official before that, but the company hasn’t hinted at anything of the sort just yet. We’ll probably see the OnePlus Nord 10 Pro (and possibly a vanilla OnePlus 10) enter global markets before that at the end of March.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the next phone OnePlus might launch will be the Nord 2 CE, also referred to as the Nord CE 2 by some who seemingly have knowledge of the product. The device could debut on February 11 and 91Mobiles suggests it could fall anywhere in the range of Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 (~$333 to ~$400). That’s pretty much in line with the original Nord CE.

OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus Nord 2 CE specs

Previous leaks have already given away specs for the Nord 2T and Nord 2 CE. The former is expected to pack the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and 85W charging. All other specs, like a 4,500mAh battery and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP setup, are expected to remain unchanged compared to the Nord 2.

The Nord 2 CE or Nord CE 2, whatever it may end up being called, is expected to gain a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED panel, 6GB to 12GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery, and 65W charging.
