Save $100: One of the most lightweight iPads just got some heft shaved off its price. As of Feb. 1, the iPad Air (WiFi, 64GB) is on sale for just $499.99, a 17% savings, at Best Buy.

Apple deals can be hard to come by in the best times, and like the rest of us, most of the brand’s best discounts have settled into the mid-winter-post-holidays-limbo. Basically, they haven’t been all that exciting.

So when Amazon dropped the 2020 iPad Air’s (WiFi, 64GB) price to $499.99 yesterday, we were not surprised that it sold out within a matter of hours. If you missed the savings, we have excellent news — Best Buy has also discounted every single color of iPad Air to $499.99, and at the time of writing, they were all in stock.

Though it’s not this tablet’s absolute lowest price of $489, it’s pretty dang close, and it definitely beats the prices it’s been post-holiday season. (The next best price on this tablet is $539 at Walmart.)

The iPad Air has 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display and runs on Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, which makes its processing power second only to the 2021 iPad mini and the iPad Pro. Like those two iPads, it has no home button, but it uses Touch ID on the power button to unlock. It also has a 12MP camera on the back and a 7MP camera on the front. Overall, it’s cute, easily portable, and powerful enough to handle 4K video editing.

Grab one of our favorite tablets at this low price while it lasts.
