The Rock Will Appear At Super Bowl This Weekend, Might Be Promoting Black Adam

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will appear during this coming weekend’s Super Bowl, the actor has announced. It’s not immediately clear what The Rock is doing at the big game, but his tweet announcing the event suggests it will be related to his upcoming movie, Black Adam, which debuts in July.

“This will [be] historic. This will be my honor. This will be ELECTRIFYING,” he said, using lightning bolt and fire emojis. “I’ll see you THIS SUNDAY,” The Rock added.

Whatever The Rock has in store, it will be revealed as part of the Super Bowl LVI pre-game festivities on Sunday, February 13 on NBC.

Super Bowl LVI features the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Cincinnati Bengals for the NFL Championship, with the Rams currently standing as the odds-on favorite to win.

EA Sports historically runs a simulation of the Super Bowl and posts the results as part of its annual prediction, but that hasn’t happened yet. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more.

Outside of The Rock’s appearance, the game, and the halftime show featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige, there will be many commercials, including some for movies and TV shows, presumably.
