Samsung Galaxy A23 renders leak, showing a familiar design

TL;DR

  • Leaked renders purportedly showing the Samsung Galaxy A23 have emerged online.
  • The phone looks similar to the upcoming Galaxy A53.

Samsung is preparing to launch more Galaxy A series phones this year, and we’ve already seen leaked renders and regulatory images showing the Galaxy A53. Now, a reliable leaker has revealed apparent Galaxy A23 5G images and a video (seen above).

Frequent tipster Steve ‘OnLeaks‘ Hemmerstoffer and College Dunia have posted images of what’s believed to be the Galaxy A23 5G. The pictures show that the phone’s rear cover bears more than a passing resemblance to the upcoming Galaxy A53. More specifically, we see a quad-camera bump that blends in with the rest of the rear cover.

In saying so, the phone differs from its stablemate when we look at the front, featuring a waterdrop notch on the 6.6-inch display and a substantial chin. By comparison, the A53 features a punch-hole cutout and a less prominent chin.

Renders also show a volume rocker and power button/fingerprint scanner on the right, and a 3.5mm input and USB-C port at the bottom. Thankfully, Samsung doesn’t seem to be following the Galaxy A53 by ditching the headphone port.

As for dimensions, the phone is said to measure at 165.4 x 77.0 x 8.5mm. This makes it slightly shorter and slimmer than the Galaxy A22 5G.

There’s no official word on other Samsung Galaxy A23 details just yet, but we hope for a similar €249 (~$282) price tag as its predecessor at the very least.
