Is it different with USB cables?
Recently I tried 5 USB-C cables(.2 to 2 meters) in preparation for my Quest 2, and only one of them managed 3.0 speeds, and that was the short cable that came with my ADATA m.2 enclosure(was instantly 390-400MBps)…. I believe all of them were marketed for 3.0.. yet the other 4 only achieved 2.0 speeds(38MBps), same enclosure, same drive.
How is HDMI different that the cable will not matter?
This is absolutely a scam, but cables do matter to an extent, and it’s not on the quality of the cable but more about the data points.
