The time has finally come for the 2022 Oscars, when Hollywood’s biggest names and brightest rising stars reunite at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the year’s best films.

It’s been an understated awards season, with two streamers going head to head for an historic Best Picture win at the 94th Academy Awards: Will it go to Netflix’s suspenseful Western, The Power of the Dog, or will Apple TV+’s feel-good family flick CODA come out on top? And is this going to be the year we can finally give Will Smith his Oscar?! The unknown is what makes the night all the more exciting. Or excruciating, depending on how you look at it.
