TL;DR: Check out the Atla In-House Water System, on sale as of March 29 for $589.

There are two types of people in this world: those who can taste the difference between waters and those who think Dasani tastes good. The former are correct in that some water just tastes better. For those humans with superior taste buds who want to bring the tasty, fresh mountain spring water flavor into their home (and do away with bottled water in any capacity once and for all), meet the Atla In-House Water System.

Named after the mythical goddess of water, the Atla system is designed to recreate the spiraling dynamics of a mountain spring. It uses three advanced technologies — Vortex Energizer, ActiveMag, and Active8 — to mimic natural processes to clean water, improve taste, and add essential minerals.

The Vortex Energizer technology works to increase dissolved oxygen and improve oxidation-reduction potential, hydration ability, and taste. The ActiveMag technology aims to increase alkalinity and add the “miracle mineral,” aka magnesium, in its elemental form. And finally, Active8 purification technology aims to remove all the bad stuff, like chlorine, chloramines, lead, VOCs, and more, while preserving beneficial minerals. The system has also been tested to NSF/ANSI Standard 53.

You can install the system in 30 minutes or less and enjoy an endless supply of Atla’s transformed H2O. You can even use your existing kitchen faucet, so you’ll only have to purchase the system itself.

Here’s a quick look at installation:

From better ice cubes for your cocktails and iced coffee drinks, to more nutrient dense meals, to happier house plants, Atla is made to produce cleaner, fresher tasting water for your home so you can cut out the water bottles for good. Get it for $589 from the Mashable shop.

Prices subject to change.
