What’s worse: Losing a game where the odds are stacked against you, or winning something that’s patronisingly handed to you on a plate?
In the Late Late Show sketch above, which sees James Corden going up against Jamie Lee Curtis and Chris Pine in a movie quiz, the host has to endure the latter. Because even though Curtis and Pine get serious questions about movies like Citizen Kane and The Godfather, all of his questions – without exception – are about Clifford the Big Red Dog.
OK, so it’s not a completely original sketch – the Late Late Show did a book quiz version back in 2019 that’s very similar – but it’s still fun.
