For the kinds of people that would otherwise by a Series X or PlayStation 5, the Switch is still the perfect second console, both due to its portability and due to Nintendo’s always-strong exclusive development. And it’s still a strong option for people that wouldn’t really consider going with Microsoft or Sony, thanks again to Nintendo’s lock on some of the most cherished titles in gaming. That mix of hardcore gaming cred, flexibility and wider market appeal is just an impressive combination.
