The year of Tom Cruise continues.
While some of us are already trembling with excitement for the megastar’s return to the hostile skies in Top Gun: Maverick on May 27, it’s not our only chance to spend summer 2022 on Cruise control. He’s also returning as Ethan Hunt when Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One hits theaters.
If you like the series already, this trailer is more of that. Big action moments, like a train-top knife fight. The inevitable Tom Cruise Running moment. Death-defying stunts (just wait for that last shot). A grave voiceover about how it’s time for Hunt to choose his side in a world that is fundamentally broken. (Maybe cutting a little close to reality with that last one.)
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One opens in theaters on July 14.
