Add a heads-up navigation display to your car for less than $50

Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

TL;DR: As of June 18, the HUDWAY Glass Heads-Up Navigation Display(opens in a new tab) is on sale for $49.95, which is 16% off its regular price of $59.95.

If you can’t afford a new car in this economy, but still want some fancy features, consider this heads-up navigation display(opens in a new tab) on sale. As seen at CES (a.k.a. Consumer Electronics Show) a few years ago, the Kickstarter-funded Hudway Glass is a nifty navigation system that sits on your dash and superimposes your driving directions on your actual outward view of the road.

Some newer vehicles added heads-up displays to their dashboards this past year or so — but you can add the tech to your existing vehicle for only $49.95 (reg. $59) for a limited time.

Simple, but effective, the Hudway Glass can help you navigate the roads a little more safely than staring at your phone screen. Plus, it just looks really cool. It magnifies your screen by 20 percent, offering a larger display than your phone would, and it shows you everything without needing to take your eyes off the road. That includes your speed, fuel compensation, and even weather forecast.

Here’s a sneak peek at how it works:

The Hudway Glass is universally compatible with any kind of car or phone. It comes with two different dashboard mounts, so you can find what works best for your dashboard. One keeps your phone and display perfectly straight, but can turn side to side, while the other offers more flexibility with your height and angle to the road. They stick to the dashboard easily and offer a quick snap-on mechanism for your device.

You can use any HUD app with your Hudway Glass. It’ll even come with some promo codes to let you try out a variety of HUD apps and see which one you like best (Waze and Google Maps aren’t compatible).

Save 16% for a limited time and add the Hudway Glass to your vehicle for $49.95.(opens in a new tab)
