Not one Kobold in this trailer?
The first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has arrived, and it looks like a lot of fun. The March 2023 film will see a group of adventurers set off to fight and vanquish an evil being. It’s much like a typical D&D campaign, but on the big screen with a big cast and writing/directing talent. Additionally, this movie had a lot of monsters in it, but what the heck are they?
To those who may not play D&D (you should give is a go), the world is filled with exceptionally well-known monsters you encounter upon your journeys, like Kobolds. They’re little, red lizard-creatures almost everyone battles as a level 1 adventurer that are relatively easy to take down. No, they weren’t in the trailer, but that’s an example of what you can see.
Watching the trailer, here are the monsters that are confirmed to appear in the movie. In addition to learning more about these monsters, we’ll tell you in what fifth edition D&D book and on what page you can find their stat blocks, in case you want your party to fight them yourself. And while they weren’t in the trailer, Kobolds are on page 195 of the Monster Manual.
