TL;DR: The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model ‘Splatoon 3’ Edition was up for grabs at Amazon(opens in a new tab), Walmart(opens in a new tab), and the My Nintendo Store(opens in a new tab) as of Aug. 29.

For the first time since its release last October, the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model is getting a special edition colorway.

A funky Splatoon 3-themed version of the console with a white graffitied docking station and two gradient Joy-Cons is now available for purchase for $359. (That’s $10 more than the standard version, which comes in white and Nintendo’s go-to Neon Blue/Neon Red.) We managed to find it in stock at several major retailers, including Amazon(opens in a new tab), Walmart(opens in a new tab), and the My Nintendo Store(opens in a new tab); Target(opens in a new tab) and Best Buy(opens in a new tab)‘s online inventories were sold out at the time of writing, but it may be available at a store near you for pickup.

The OLED Switch upgraded Nintendo‘s original system from 2017 with a pretty seven-inch OLED screen, a miles-better kickstand for tabletop play, improved speakers with “enhanced audio,” and double the internal storage space. It’s not exactly the “Switch Pro” that everyone hoped it would be, but it’s easily “the best Switch yet,” said former Mashable reporter Adam Rosenberg. If you haven’t hopped on the Switch train yet (honestly impressive at this point), or if you’re still hanging onto the launch model, it’s definitely worth a buy.

Splatoon 3 doesn’t come out until Sept. 9, but you can pre-order a copy at Amazon(opens in a new tab), Walmart(opens in a new tab), Best Buy(opens in a new tab), Target(opens in a new tab), GameStop(opens in a new tab), or the My Nintendo Store(opens in a new tab) for $59.99 in the meantime. (Big Man hive, assemble.)
