Update: September 5, 2022 (1:59 AM ET): We’ve updated the original article below with the prices of the new Huawei hardware line launched in Europe. Read on for all the latest.

Original article: September 2, 2022 (7:40 AM ET): Huawei took to IFA 2022 — the ongoing tech fest in Berlin — to announce a range of new devices for the international markets. The Chinese tech firm has suffered quite a blow since its US ban. Once a smartphone powerhouse globally, Huawei is now fighting for a slice of the pie even in its home country. That said, the tech maker is still very much inclined towards launching new phones internationally, even though they don’t come with Google services.

Its latest set of devices is the Huawei Nova 10 series comprising the standard Nova 10 and the Nova 10 Pro. The phones were launched in China in July but are now making their European debut in Berlin.

To stand out, Huawei has flipped the script on the two handsets. Both of them feature a 60MP ultrawide camera on the front. Yes, you read that right. Get ready for super selfies. The Pro model features another 8MP selfie camera for portrait shots.

Elsewhere, the Nova 10 and 10 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 778 4G chip and house a triple rear camera system including a 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP depth camera setup.

The vanilla model gets a 4,000mAh battery with 66W charging, while the Pro variant boasts 100W fast charging and a 4,500mAh battery.

The phones will be equipped with EMUI 12 software internationally.

The Huawei Nova 10 will start at €549 (~$542), while the Nova 10 Pro will cost €699 (~$690). Both devices will retail in a single configuration — 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
