Here’s an overview of the top deals for Sept. 9:
Amazon is still slashing prices on its inventory of Apple gear in the wake of this week’s iPhone event, while Walmart and Best Buy get props for managing to keep a new special-edition Nintendo Switch – OLED Model in stock. Plus, celebrate Disney+ Day with a dirt-cheap introductory offer for new and returning subscribers.
Below, we’ve rounded up all of the best deals of Friday, Sept. 9.

The best part about new Apple announcements is discounts on all their other stuff. If you’re in the market for a new laptop, the 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip can’t be beat — especially when it’s $100 off(opens in a new tab). It’s speedier and more responsive than ever, boasts a bigger and lighter Retina display, a non-Butterfly keyboard (thankfully), and an impressive 18-hour battery life. Mashable tech reporter Alex Perry says “anyone who’s been rocking an older MacBook for a while should upgrade to this one ASAP.”

It’s not a “deal” per say, but we figured it’s worth flagging the fact that Walmart(opens in a new tab) and Best Buy(opens in a new tab) had the new Splatoon 3-themed Nintendo Switch – OLED Model in stock at the time of writing. (Meanwhile, it’s completely sold out at Amazon(opens in a new tab) and the My Nintendo Store(opens in a new tab).) This is the console‘s first special-edition colorway since launching last fall.

Now through Monday, Sept. 19, new and returning subscribers can get their first month of Disney+ for only $1.99 — a 75% discount on its usual monthly rate of $7.99. The promotion comes as part of the streaming giant’s second annual Disney+ Day celebrations on Sept. 8, a virtual event featuring new premieres and perks for subscribers, which coincides with D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Calif. this weekend.

Our favorite fitness tracker for kids, the Fitbit Ace 3 helps kids get interested in a more active lifestyle. Kids can challenge their friends to step competitions and send messages, get rewarded with virtual badges and on-screen celebrations, and more, while parents can set goals and reminders for their kiddos. As the school year kicks off, it’s not a bad idea to keep them as active as they were throughout the summer. And for just under $50, the Fitbit Ace 3(opens in a new tab) is an affordable way to keep tabs on their activity.
