TL;DR

  • Google is ramping up advertising for its Pixel devices, showing off a new video.
  • In the video, the company teases a new watch face and Google Assistant software button for the upcoming Pixel Watch.

Google’s October 6 hardware event is drawing ever closer. In preparation for the launch of its new Pixel devices, Google has been ramping up its advertising. In a recently released video, Google appears to tease a new watch face for its upcoming Pixel Watch.

This morning, the Mountain View-based organization tweeted out a 15-second video snippet on its Made by Google Twitter account. The tweet is focused on reminding fans of its upcoming event, as well as getting them to sign up for updates. In the video, you’ll see the full collection of Google’s Pixel devices including the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel Watch, and the new Pixel Buds.

The Google Pixel Collection. A world of help, built around you.

While this doesn’t seem like anything that’s all that special — we’ve already seen renders of these devices before — what stands out is the Pixel Watch. During the brief moment the Pixel Watch appears on screen, we are shown what looks like a new watch face for the device. In the following few seconds, we are also shown a Google Assistant software button.

In addition to this new reveal, we also know that the Wi-Fi model of the Pixel Watch will sell for $349.99. There’s no preorder information yet, but it’s expected that it will be October 6, just like for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
