TL;DR: As of Sept. 23, you can get the Cool Blades 4.0 Wearable Fan(opens in a new tab) for just $32.99 instead of $119.99 — that’s a 72% discount.

Fall may be right around the corner, but that doesn’t mean everyone is done with summer’s heat. Staying cool(opens in a new tab) is tough, especially when you’re up against months of heavy electric bills from cooling your home. Instead of sitting in front of a fan and waiting out the summer, you could wear one instead. The Cool Blades 4.0 Wearable Fan looks like a pair of headphones but acts like a fan, and they’re on sale for $32.99 (Reg. $119).

A wearable fan for indoors and out

Our bodies cool themselves by sweating, which evaporates and releases heat, and even a light breeze can help the process happen faster. You can’t control when the wind will blow, but you may be able to wear something that simulates it. Cool Blades don’t exactly have all the power of the wind, but they do have three speeds that may help keep you cooler the same way wind does. Your options are low, medium, and high speed, and there’s a corresponding LED indicator for each one.

Cool Blades may look a little silly, but if they help cool you down, how much does that actually matter? One thing you can make sure of is that they fit and flow in the right direction. The flexible silicone nape lets you adjust the angle of the airflow, and the internal fan blades also prevent hair or clothing from getting caught.

On a single charge, the 3,600mAh lithium battery can provide up to 10 hours of cooling(opens in a new tab) at the lowest speed. Wear it at home to offset some of the cost of cooling a whole room or wear it out because most air conditioners probably aren’t quite as wearable.

Try a new way to keep cool

Most air conditioners are hands-free, but you can’t take most of them with you. If you’re still sweating through the summer heat, then get a Cool Blades 4.0 Wearable Fan(opens in a new tab) for $32.99 (Reg. $119).

Prices subject to change.
