TL;DR: As of Sept. 23, you can get the 2023 Fundamental of Drawing & Shading Bundle(opens in a new tab) for just $29.99 instead of $800 — that’s a 96% discount.

Drawing may seem like magic when you watch an experienced artist do it, but it’s a learned skill like any other. If you want to improve your drawing(opens in a new tab), then you may want to try the 2023 Fundamental of Drawing & Shading Bundle. This four-course bundle has instruction on the fundamentals of drawing along with some of the foundational skills and concepts that may help you get started, and it’s only $29.99.

Get drawn into the fundamentals of art

Of the four courses in this bundle, three are part of a series showing you the basics of drawing and one puts your new skills to work by helping you learn portrait and pencil art. Combined, it amounts to 15 hours of instruction led by Tamas Benko. Benko is an IT engineer who returned to art after loving it as a child. After years of teaching himself, he began creating his own instructional resources and believes “anyone can learn to draw.”

The first course — How to Draw EP1: Basic Drawing Skills & Sketching Course — contains 32 lectures with three hours of content overall. Aspiring artists(opens in a new tab) may learn how to draw lines, curves, real-life subjects, and more. This course introduces the fundamentals of shading and perspective, and what Benjo calls knowing “how to see with the eyes of the artist.”

The second and third “How to Draw” courses could show you how to break down 3D structures, use perspective to create the illusion of depth, add dimensionality to your art, and continue learning shading techniques. Together, they have seven hours of course material, but you have them all for life.

The final course on portrait drawing both puts what you’ve learned about perspective and shading to work and has more to show you about drawing facial expressions, features, perspective, and shading. You could take your time and practice because you likely won’t become a master artist overnight. Even Da Vinci drew some weird-looking cats.
