Big ticket items like gaming and productivity laptops are always worthwhile products to check out during big sales events like next week’s second Amazon Prime Day of the year. The Prime Early Access sale runs October 11-12, and we expect to see plenty of great deals on gaming laptops, MacBooks, and productivity machines across all price ranges. Ahead of Prime Day, we’ve put together a list of the best early deals on laptops.

A surprising number of gaming laptops and MacBooks are on sale already. We’d actually be surprised if the MacBook Pro prices dropped any further next week, and some of the gaming laptop discounts are quite great. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly gaming laptop, though, we imagine we’ll see even more machines for under $1,000 next week.

More Prime Day deals

Gaming laptops have come a long way in the last couple of years, and if you’re looking for a compact package that combines impressive power with workhorse functionality, you’re practically spoiled for choice right now. To sweeten the deal, many of these laptops can be purchased for an attractive price and will last you a good number of years before you need to consider an upgrade.

Like the July event, Amazon Prime Day is exclusive to members of the retail brand’s subscription program and has a number of early deals that have gone live. A number of other big retail giants have also joined in on the hype, and we’ve added a few specials from Walmart and Best Buy to the list.
