The Amazon Fire 7(opens in a new tab) is a gets-the-job-done device. Nothing fancy or super fast, but good enough for the price — which is at an all-time low, thanks to this deal. It has little competition, at almost disposable prices, so it’s a great pick for kids.
Though it’s not going to make a list of best tablets, it’s certainly a way to stream the latest movies, scroll TikTok, listen to Spotify, or read an ebook. In terms of its hardware, it’s basic: The display and resolution aren’t the best on the market, but what do you expect from a tablet that’s often on sale for around $50?
