Check out that camera bump

TL;DR

  • Xiaomi 13 Pro renders have leaked online.
  • The images show a sizeable camera bump and curved screen.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 13 series as soon as next month, and we already have a few minor leaks to go on. Now, a veteran leaker has blown the lid wide open with Xiaomi 13 Pro renders.

Frequent leaker Steve ‘OnLeaks‘ Hemmerstoffer and Zoutons have posted renders of Xiaomi’s upcoming Pro phone, complete with supposed dimensions. Check out the images below.

The images show a pretty large rear camera bump, complete with three sensors and a flash. So those hoping for something more symmetrical like the Pixel 7 Pro‘s camera visor might be disappointed. The Xiaomi 13 Pro renders also show a curved display, said to measure ~6.55-inches, complete with a center-mounted punch-hole cutout.

We can also make out four dots at the top of the phone. Xiaomi is one of the few players still offering an IR blaster on its devices, so we’re guessing at least one of the dots is the IR sensor. Otherwise, we’re not sure about the other three dots.

What do you think of the leaked Xiaomi 13 Pro design?

Finally, the outlet and leaker claim that the Xiaomi 13 Pro measures 163 x 74.6 x 8.8mm (or 11.8mm thick when including the camera). That puts the phone in the same ballpark as the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

There’s no official word on a launch date yet, but the Xiaomi 12 series launched in China on December 28. So we’re expecting a similar launch window, allowing Xiaomi to be part of the first wave of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones.
