Authentication tech is integral for smartphones, as you’re exposing your personal and financial data if you don’t keep your device locked down. And there’s no shortage of authentication options, such as PIN codes, fingerprint unlock, facial recognition, and more.

Do you lock your smartwatch, though? That’s the topic of our featured poll today. So let us know by taking the survey below and leaving a comment if you’d like to elaborate on your decision.

Do you lock your smartwatch?

We can understand why you’d want to lock your smartwatch, as you’d need to set this up if you plan to use mobile payments for one. It also gives you some peace of mind just in case your wearable gets lost or stolen.

Then again, I can see why you’d leave your watch unlocked. This ensures a seamless experience on your wrist when engaged in physical activity — no need to enter that code every few minutes during your run.
