SAVE $499: The refurbished M1 iPad Pro (5th gen)(opens in a new tab) is on sale for $799 at Woot as of Dec. 15. That’s 38% off, and the lowest price we’ve seen.

If you’re looking to level up your tablet game now that we’re heading into a new year, there’s no better time than now. The Apple iPad Pro is one of the most powerful tablets you can find, and its 2021 model is still very much worth picking up, especially at a steep discount.

But if you don’t want to shell out for a brand-new model, buying used is definitely the way to go. As of Dec. 15 at Woot, you can snag your own refurbished 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro (5th gen)(opens in a new tab) for just $799. That’s 38% off its list price of $1,299, and the lowest price we’ve seen. This price is valid for one day only, and you can choose from a variety of models, all the way up to the 1TB capacity.

Though you’re buying refurbished, you should expect a tablet that’s mostly in great condition. These models have been awarded a “B” rating, which means you can expect some light wear and tear, with possible scratches and dents here and there. It’s nothing a simple tablet case can’t fix, especially for this price. You should also get up to 10 hours of battery life per charge, which is nothing to sneeze at.

Last year’s iteration of Apple’s powerhouse of a tablet offers its M1 chip, a mini-LED display, and an improved front-facing camera for high-quality video calls. It can handle heavy lifts like video editing or designing 3D prototypes, according to Mashable reviewer Brenda Stolyar, but it’s also perfect for checking email, binging your favorite shows, and online shopping. Whatever it is you want to do, the fifth-generation iPad Pro can handle it.
