After teasing a new collaboration yesterday, Fortnite and Dragon Ball Super are coming together again, with Son Gohan and Piccolo skins and cosmetics coming to the Item Shop today.
Both the Son Gohan skin and the Piccolo skin come from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero feature-length film, which features both heroes as the main characters against the evil Red Ribbon Army. The update also marks the return of the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items for use during battle royale matches.

The Son Gohan skin comes with a built-in emote that changes him to the Super Saiyan form. An extra Gohan-themed cosmetic bundle consists of the following items:
- Gohan’s Cape back bling
- Also included with the Son Gohan skin, and can only be used with that skin
- Gohan’s Beast Axe pickaxe
- Comes with added lightning effects whenever a weak point is hit
- Capsule No. 576 glider
The Piccolo skin also comes with a built-in emote, with this one changing Piccolo to his Power Awakening form. The Namekian also has a featured cosmetic bundle, which contains the following:
- Piccolo’s Cape and Turban back bling
- Also included with the Piccolo skin, and can only be used with that skin
- Piccolo’s Demon Symbol back bling
- Also included with the Piccolo skin
- Piccolo’s Handheld House pickaxe
- Red Ribbon Army Aircraft glider
Other changes coming to Fortnite in the new 23.30 patch includes a bug fix that restores emotes after achieving a Victory Royale and new Reality Augments including one that gives the user a Mythic-level pistol. Also, weekly quests will no longer expire after one week, which will allow players to complete them and earn experience from now until the end of the season.
The full list of new Reality Augments is as follows:
- Rift-jector Seat: Activates a rift jump a short while after a player’s shield breaks
- Shadow Striker: Shadow Bombs appear in chests and other containers
- Icy Slide: After sliding, the player receives a brief and slippery speed boost
- Harvester: Destroying plants will drop Big Bush Bombs and forageable items. Effects of forageable items increased for the remainder of the match.
- Mythic Munition: A Mythic-level pistol is added to the player’s inventory.
