If the Google Pixel 4a XL wasn’t canceled, this is what it would’ve looked like

Sadly, the Google Pixel 4a XL will never see the light of day. We’ve known this for awhile. It’s too bad because it looks like it would have been a nice-looking phone based on these recently released renders.

The new renders from Pigtou show what the device would have looked like had Google decided to release it to the masses. The site claims that it received its information from known leaker @xleaks7 on Twitter. The renders definitely look like what we’d expect the device to be.

The canceled device would have been 154.3 x 73.9 x 8.2mm. If that would have been the final size, the Google Pixel 4a XL would have been smaller than the Google Pixel 3a XL. In fact, it would be closer to the size of the Pixel 3a, which makes it seem like this phone would have had a lot of display relative to the size of the device.

The render also shows a punch-hole camera on the front left of the phone, which is what we’d expect to see on the Google Pixel 4a XL since the smaller Google Pixel 4a features the same design. It also shows dual cameras on the back. That would have been a nice feature for an affordable smartphone, especially since the smaller 4a is expected to have only one rear camera. Also on the back of the phone is a fingerprint scanner.

Google Pixel 4a XL perspective

Unfortunately, while many were eagerly anticipating the release of the Google Pixel 4a XL, the phone shall be lost to history (and these slick renders).
