Destiny 2 Lightfall: Bungie Releases List Of Known Issues

The launch of Lightfall has been huge for Destiny 2, setting a new concurrent player record on Steam, but it hasn’t been without issues. Bungie support has released a thread of all known issues to do with Lightfall’s launch, with some features temporarily deactivated while bugs are investigated.

The issues currently identified by Bungie thankfully don’t seem to be major bugs. The support team has warned that some players report crashing when they go to the Commendations page in the Journeys tab, and recommend players avoid this page until the issue can be fixed.

In temporarily disabled content, the Jötunn Exotic fusion rifle has been removed from all Crucible modes, while the Arc Hunter’s Disorienting Blow melee has also been temporarily removed.

Some Xbox Series X|S users are also reportedly having problems logging into Destiny 2 after the update. Bungie has outlined a series of steps that should serve as a workaround for this problem. Some PC players are also reportedly having problems logging in on Steam.

Here are all the issues Bungie has identified at the time of writing:

• Due to an issue, we have disabled the Jötunn Exotic fusion rifle in all Crucible modes.

• Due to an issue, we have temporarily disabled the Arc Hunter’s Disorienting Blow melee.

• Some players are crashing when they go to the Commendations page in the Journeys tab. It’s recommended to not view this screen until a fix can be deployed.

• The “Solo Legendary Lost Sectors” Guardian Rank objective can be completed with both Master and Legendary Lost Sectors.

• Veteran players starting Lightfall at Guardian Rank 6 will not receive Vanguard Lore Books 1 through 6 and will only receive Vanguard Lore Book 7.

• The Guardian Ranks seasonal reset text is incorrect. Guardian Ranks 7 through 11 are advance ranks and players at these ranks will reset to rank 6 at the end of the season.

• The “Ascendant Scepter Mods” Triumph from Season of Defiance cannot be completed.

• The Swarmers Warlock Exotic Legs do not create Threadlings when a Tangle is thrown if a player has the Strand Shackle grenade equipped.

• The “Shielded Foes” activity modifier is showing a placeholder icon.

• The Quicksilver Storm Exotic auto rifle and Touch of Malice Exotic scout rifle have lost their 40% damage increase against red bar enemies.
