Kal Penn sat down at the Daily Show desk on Tuesday, using his turn to host to call out President Joe Biden. Specifically, Penn roasted Biden for authorising an oil drilling project on federal land in Alaska after he’d spent his election campaign promising no more drilling on federal lands.
“But hey, when you’re that age, that’s the only kind of drilling you can do,” quipped Penn. “I’m kidding. This guy fucks.”
Penn also explained that the drilling project will involve the use of a thermosiphon, which “keeps the permafrost solid enough for drilling while it simultaneously melts due to global warming.”
“Keeping the permafrost alive so they can kill it slowly? That’s like some Silence of the Lambs serial killer shit,” said Penn, proceeding to rub his nipples. “‘Would you fuck the planet? I’d fuck the planet.’ I worked at the White House.“
