If you’ve ever been curious about the story behind the legend, then Shooting Stars is going to be a must-watch for you.
Based on LeBron James’ book of the same name(Opens in a new tab), co-written by Buzz Bissinger, Shooting Stars looks into James’ origin story as a child prodigy and that of his equally talented best friends, who all banded together to become the #1 high school basketball team in the country. Set in the ’90s, the film stars Marquis “Mookie” Cook as a young LeBron James, with Caleb McLaughlin, Avery S. Wills Jr., and Khalil Everage starring as James’ childhood pals.
