Can Sony U-Turn From PSVR 2 And Give Us The PSP/Vita 2?

The bullshit is real. The negative narrative keeps going. It’s only been out a month but the expectation is that Sony should announce EVERY GAME they will have on the platform for the next 5 years at launch. The nonsense is real. What company does that? None of them do.

Launching with 40+ games with bangers like RE8, GT7, Pavlov, Horizon, etc. With better versions of PSVR and Quest 2 games. Matching level of graphics with PC games that were ported.

Better GAME features built into the platform as standard like SSD, haptics, triggers, etc that costs less than high end headsets that lack these features. But the nonsense continues because it creates clicks.

Compare PSVR launch games, Quest 2 launch games, Index launch games, Pico launch games. Remove every game that is multiplatform that each has and stick with the exclusives. What headset has the better selection of games and more quality? But these sites want to continue to press as if PS VR 2 is struggling.

I mean, the headset is already planned to get a new Firewall that will be awesome. RE4 content that will blow away the Quest version. But no. We keep hearing that the headset has nothing and nothing is coming. Quest 2 supposedly sold 20 million, what big games are on it now? What big games are coming for it? GTA SA has become vaporware and most likely is a Quest 3 launch game. Which is fine. But If Sony announces GTA 5 or 6 VR, which game is going to be sought after more? Let’s not play ourselves. Be real about it.

As for mainstream, it seems companies have this thing that VR needs to go mainstream overnight. Did consoles get where they are overnight? Did cellphones? TVs? No. But VR needs to go mainstream or it’s a fail. When Sony’s not even targeting mainstream. They are targeting PS5 owners. Not Switch owners. Not Xbox owners. PS5. But we’ll keep hearing this nonsense again and again. And no, Sony don’t need to pivot to a portable because of a crappy website.
